After you’ve inquired, we’ll set up a call to get to know each other and discuss your goals for the session. This initial conversation helps us ensure that I’m the right photographer for your family, and allows us to begin planning a session that captures your family’s unique dynamics.

Once you’ve decided to book, I’m not just your photographer, but your guide through the process. We’ll work together to plan the details of your shoot, from choosing a location that’s meaningful to your family, to coordinating outfits that complement each other without feeling too staged. I’m here to offer advice, answer any questions, and ensure that the session is tailored to your family’s needs and personalities.
My goal is to create an experience that’s enjoyable and stress-free, so you can focus on simply being together as a family.

On the day of your family shoot, my focus is on making sure everyone feels comfortable and at ease. We’ll start with some gentle guidance for posed shots, but the magic really happens in the candid moments that unfold naturally.
Whether we’re capturing the joy of a family game, the calm of a quiet cuddle, or the excitement of a new adventure, the session is designed to be relaxed and fun. This includes assistance planning the photoshoot, 1 hour of coverage, at least 50 edited photos, and an online digital gallery with full downloading and printing rights.

How do we choose the location for our family photoshoot?
At-home sessions are my bread butter, and typically your family's too! But if you don't want to shoot in home, I have plenty of spots around town that could suit your needs.
What happens if someone gets sick or the weather is bad on the day of our photoshoot?
We can reschedule the session at no additional cost, ensuring that everyone is feeling their best and the weather is ideal.
Session Details
What should we wear for our family photoshoot?
Choose coordinated outfits in earth tones or complementary colors, avoiding busy patterns; we want you guys to be the stars of the show!
How should we prepare our children for the photoshoot?
Keep it fun and relaxed; bring snacks, favorite toys, and schedule the shoot around your children’s best time of day when they’re most happy and alert. But don't stress about it- I've had plenty of grumpy kiddos whose photos still turn out awesome.
How long does a family photoshoot typically last?
A family session lasts about an hour
Can we do multiple outfits or locations during the session?
Yes, bring a change of clothes. I typically limit each session to just one outfit change and up to two locations.
Delivery
How long will it take to receive our family photos?
You can expect to receive your edited family photos within 2-3 weeks after the session.
Do you offer prints or albums of our family photos?
Absolutely. When your gallery is delivered, you will have the option to print straight from there. Though pricey, each print will be color matched and suuuper high quality, definitely worth it to preserve those family memories.
Do you Photoshop your photos?
I believe in capturing your natural beauty, so I don't alter your appearance unless it's for temporary issues like skin blemishes, bruises, scrapes, or acne. If you're self-conscious about something, please let me know, and I'll be extra aware of it while posing you.
